AI is an assistant, not a source of truth

AssistedCV uses large language models to draft resume content, tailor summaries to job descriptions, and estimate ATS compatibility. AI output is a starting point grounded in the information you've provided — it is not fact-checked against external sources, and it can be wrong, incomplete, or phrased in ways you wouldn't choose yourself.

You are responsible for what you submit to employers

Every AI-generated or AI-assisted section is clearly marked and must be reviewed and approved by you before it is included in a resume you send out. AssistedCV never submits anything on your behalf. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of any resume you download, publish, or send — including AI-drafted summaries, bullet rewrites, and tailored content.

• AI will not fabricate employers, dates, or credentials you haven't provided.
• AI may rephrase, summarize, or infer wording from what you've entered — always re-read generated text before using it.
• Fields filled in by AI without your explicit confirmation are flagged as suggestions, not facts, until you approve them.

ATS analysis is an estimate, not a guarantee

The ATS compatibility score and keyword-match feedback are AssistedCV's best estimate of how a resume might be parsed by common applicant tracking systems. Real-world ATS software varies widely between employers and vendors; a high score does not guarantee a resume will pass any specific company's screening, and a lower score does not mean a resume is unreadable by a human recruiter.

Free-tier generations require extra review

To keep the Free plan sustainable, some AI generations on Free use a lighter-weight model tier and are marked as requiring your review before they can be saved. Paid plans use higher-capability models by default for most generation tasks.

No AI training on your data

We do not use your profile data, documents, or generated resumes to train AI models. See the Privacy Policy for the full data-handling commitment.

Questions or concerns

If an AI-generated suggestion seems inaccurate, inappropriate, or concerning, you can report it from the generation's review screen, or contact the support channel listed in your account settings.
